The short version
Our apps and sites have no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect your name, email address, location or contacts, and we do not sell or share data about you with anyone, because we do not have any.
What the apps keep on your device
Poll Ledger saves your preferences on your own device: chart filters, map colors and the prediction map you paint. Nothing is sent to us. Clearing the app’s data, or the site’s stored data in your browser, removes it.
What our servers see
When an app or site loads polls, results or campaign-finance figures, the request goes to our server, which passes it to the public data feeds listed on the app’s About page. Those feeds receive the request itself and nothing about you. Our sites are hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any host, handles the connection and keeps standard, short-lived server logs.
Visitor counts
We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which records that a page was viewed without cookies, fingerprinting or any identifier for you.
If you write to us, we keep the conversation so we can reply and follow up. We do not add you to any list.
Children
Our apps are general-audience reference tools and collect no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If a future product needs to handle personal information, for example an account or a purchase, this page will say exactly what and why before that product ships.
